Roadtrip Americana

Since I travel so often... I have decide to start a series called "American Road Trip." In this series I hope to document the beauty that is around us that goes unnoticed. When I lived in Italy, when I was younger, I often found myself fantasizing what I imaged America was like. Now in my photography I can make those stereotypes and images of America that I had, come to life. In my "American Road Trip" series my goal is to depict what makes America unique to me.

Most of the photographs in previous posts on this blog fit with those series.

Fly High

This year the national cherry blossom festival was supposed to hold its "Blossom Kite Festival" on March 27th. It has been rescheduled to April 10. Lucky for me, many people still showed up at the National Mall with a beautiful Kite in hand on the 27th.

A protected area filled with wildlife and of course, my main reason for visiting, ALLIGATORS!

A Day in Fredericksburg, VA

I took a day trip to Fredericksburg, VA in January with Richie D. I had the pleasure to enter a English Tea Room, run by a Asian lady. She picked what food I had to eat, and guessed that my favorite tea is Chai. Best Chai ever!

Spend the rest of the day walking around the town, entering in vintage music stores and antique shops.

Rounding up 2010

It had been a few years that I actually went on a road trip with my family. Suddenly, after receiving a college degree, and considering myself an independent adult, I found myself stuck in the car for the longest road trip of my life. 22 hours. From Waldorf, Maryland to Norman, Oklahoma.
